Konica Minolta launch branded ECM product: dokoniSUITE

Konica Minolta have partnered with the French software house EVER TEAM, whose Sharepoint-based enterprise content management suite will be marketed by the Japanese group under the name "dokoniSUITE." Now Konica Minolta have a product which can compete with the likes of, for example, Xerox DocuShare.
ECM takes document management up several gears. As well as managing storage and indexing, ECM applications encompass all of a company’s information and provide advanced security, efficiency and the means to seriously improve complex and strategic workflows. Companies big enough to benefit from an ECM revolution show revenue gains quite quickly through process performance improvement, but the key long-term advantage is how ECM facilitates collaboration in a SME or larger organization.
The name refers both to “Dokuments” and “Konica” but incidentally “Doko ni?” is Japanese for “Where is it?” - a question this software is clearly intended to solve.
